Can anyone recommend an in-car CCTV setup that isn't too costly? I did think about the Roadhawk systems but I would only be using the CCTV part of the device so it'd be a bit of a waste.

Any other decent systems for under £100 that aren't too bad at night?

Cheers.

Seen a few so far but wanted to ask about battery drain. If it's connected via the ciggy lighter doesn't this mean you wake up to a flat battery? Are there only specific devices which cater for this like the Road Hawk?

Can someone tell me if those portable battery packs would be sufficient to keep something like this going over night? http://www.amazon.co.uk/TaoTronics-TT-CD01-Camera-... and this battery pack http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/14918502/Veh...

It says DC5v but the battery pack's i'm looking at supply their power via a USB connection, so if I didn't use the DC5v port on the item above, but used the USB port instead, would this still charge?

This one looks cool, you could use a 5000mah usb battery to power it over night, or just use their smart power unit, http://www.mi-witness.co.uk it's got a parking mode for overnight stuff.
