Wolverine Oil Heater
Discussion
The Wolverine unit does everything it says on the tin, but..
I fitted mine to the tuscan speed six a couple of years ago, the company in Canada are great to deal with and loads of advice and hilarity prior to purchase via e-mail ensued. ( i happened to ask if the unit would work in very cold weather ie sometimes in this country it can get as low as -5 c) The response i recieved was " jeez, -5c shorts and T shirt weather).
Postage from canada was around five quid, (yet it costs nearly six pounds to travel on our local bus service from home to nearest town 11 miles away),and arrived four days after order. I fitted either end of the casbles with caravan spec three pin plugs, male and female to connect to a length of cable fitted to a normal 3 pin plug in the garage. I ran the cable up through the windscreen washer apperture and cable tied together so as to easily locate with just the servce bonnet up easy and reliable access.
The but comes with where i decided to glue/fix the heater pad. I didnt want it stuck to the side of the remote oil tank for aesthetic reasons, so levered up the tank in its cradle and affixed to the bottom, sealant around edges and all worked fantastic for last winter, plug in 1 hour before use, oil temp reads 68c, after starting oil drops to around 40c once traveled around the engine, but i now find that after a year or so of running whenever i plug it in it now trips the garage fuse box so it is now of no use. I think that vibration and friction have worn through the insulation and it is now causing a short. Perhaps sticking it to the side of the tank would have been better in the long run.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I have one on the T350T
1. Lawnmower Power Connector
2. Routed to side of bonnet, although will route into scoop area over the winter, so I can plug and unplug, drive in drive out
Been playing with timings and 1.5 hours, warms me up to about 50 degrees following startup, so over the nasty 45 degree zone, although, still run her gently waiting for everything else to warm up too
Great piece of kit
