how to disable seat belt warning ding. Mazda 6, 06plate

my dad has a damaged his shoulder and ribs. Because of this he has a seat belt exemption certificate for 5 weeks. So to help him he has swapped the wife her Mazda 6 auto to make things a little easier. However the seat belt warning ding goes of for about 1min every journey and in his words "is doing my chuffing nut in". Do any of you know how to disable this.........

Run the seatbelt round the back of the seat then plug it in.

I doubt it would be possible unless there is a specific fuse you can pull. Or even better, do that ^^

You can also get these little plastic 'keys' which will slot in. Probably only a few quid from a certain auction site

Just put the seat belt in from behind the seat. Easiest solution for when he needs the seatbelt again after 5 weeks.
