Roughly how long will it take to prepare the car for lifting the body off? Could it be done in a weekend?

This may help if you have'nt already seen it. You will also need "at least 7 mates" to do it. Good luck!

About 10 mins, a quick call to STR8SIX to arrange when they can collect the car from you and then the job is done, simple ;-)

Hi Richard,

There's a great time lapse video showing strip down and body off on a pistonheads thread somewhere, and it was not long ago.

It would depend if you are planning to leave the engine in or not. I left it in whne I did my lift, but if I was doing it again I would take it out first.

It would be a very busy weekend, but you probably could get all the disconnecting done provided you didn't run into any unexpected siezed bolts. It took me a week.

The lift its self can be done in a day and can be done single handed.

Or in 8 minutes with 3 people http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...biggrin
