cheap vette on Ebay

Sounds bloody cheap,and no i don't know the owner or the car.

Something is fishy with that. It was on a week or so ago and had loads of people bidding. It went to ever £11,000 (last I checked it was at £11K with a day to go). It's now back on with starting price £3990 and Buy It Now £4000, but preapproved bidders only. That doesn't make any sense to me. If you check the guy's other auctions he has a Hyabusa for £2999 and a 406 for £2500 under the same conditions. Theses all seem very cheap.

Not saying there is something underhand or wrong with the cars, but I reckon that it's not being run as a normal ebay auction. Maybe just to get you to look, e-mail to be added to the bidder list so he can try to arrange a direct sale?

Either way, it's a nice car. Not keen on the white paint, but paint it all black and you have an awesome C3!

I have just mailed the bloke,asking if the car had been involved in an accident at any time and where could i view the car.
This was his response...

this sounds like a very small car or the guy has no idea how much parcel tape he is gonna need

Perhaps uncle Eric our shipping expert would like to hazard a guess at how much Fedex would charge for shipping a car from Italy to the UK.

If you look at Ebay today a guy claiming to be the the legal UK owner is claiming that the auction for this Vette is a scam. Someone has got photos and details and has posted them on the site !!!!!!!
This seems to be an all too common situation on Ebay recently and one that Ebay management don't appear to be addresssing or even want to accept any responsibity for.

Maybe I could sell my neighbour's car... he keeps parking it in 'my' space (as much as any space in London can be owned)...

Alternatively... 6 mini coopers for sale. All come with custom decals saying 'Foxton's'...
