Convince my missus

I work in the trade and have recently taken in a Mk3 2006 MX-5 2.0 Sport in Black with 34K on the clock. I can buy it for a smidge over £5k for my better half.

She needs a new car and this is a great example, need some PH help to convince her!

It's a beautiful car with great heritage. The roof comes down. It is a lot of fun regardless of where or how you're driving. It will sell for more than you paid! etc

I've given up trying to influence my wife over her choice of car.

I think we just have to accept different people like different things, mine has recently turned down changing her soft top smart for two, for a BMW 3.0 Z3 !

She has chosen, (and is now driving), a shiney smart for two hardtop ...... because it's what she wanted.

She'd love it, it's an MX-5 just like she wants... but she *can't* have it. No way. It wouldn't be professional. You can't allow her to have it.

Stand back and watch her complain about not being able to have it, then after a suitable time, "cave in", apologising as you do so.
