got this on saturday its rather simple looks all right but not bowled over by it playing on very hard and its really not a challenge
What level are you up to? I think I'm up to the last one on the lighthouse island. I agree it's pretty easy on the hard setting but I still think it is a fantastic game. I went most levels without killing anybody. I want to play through again as Rambo. Took about 10 hours to complete on the hard setting and I loved it. If you like sneaking games then you will like this.
I am a big fan of quality over quantity (ME2 for example) but this is really worth playing anyway. It has an extra replay in it because you can either play sneaky squirrel
eyes or outraged daily mail reader. I barely killed anyone the entire game.

Cheers, sounds great. I've just completed Deus Ex:Human Revolution and loved it. In particular the sneaking elements so this sounds right for me.I am a big fan of quality over quantity (ME2 for example) but this is really worth playing anyway. Been off work with a bad bout of my cronhs and been playing this.
Currently on the "flooded district" level.
Really enjoying it, a good story based game that isnt another complete in 4 hours COD clone.
Am off on holiday for a few days but had to cancel the trip due to being ill so may get X:com to play over the long weekend as im not traveling.

Depening how you play you can miss quite a bit too, sometimes sneaking in as a fish means you miss whole buildings and floors out. Anyway I'm plodding through slowly as is my style; I like to explore every nook and cranny. Annoyingly, I managed to kill the maid in the lab level just by walking near to her.
Anyone know what the tarot cards are for?

As an add-on to my original thread about recommending me a game for the weekend, I said I'd let people know what I thought of it. My opinion in the style of a very amateur review (sorry if it's a bit long) follows :

I found it very playable and much like some of the other games that I mentioned (Fallout, Deus Ex etc). I never played bioshock, but from what I've seen it looks very similar.
I was under the impression this was a truly open-world game. There are very open set levels, which are very fun to explore but ultimately you have to go through them to the same point to progress to the next level. Your actions are more open than the physical world though, you can choose to kill everyone or absolutely no one, even the main characters. It goes further than let them go or not though, your interactions with other characters and in-level side missions influence how they are dealt with, which was refreshing and a real plus point.
Aesthetically this is a very good looking game world and fun to explore. Using the blink and possession skills was brilliant. I was left wishing there was more reward for doing this e.g. more hidden things, skills and more side missions and character interactions. I'd be more annoyed if I'd bought it to be honest as I had finished the storyline, whilst exploring what I felt was all of the world by Sunday morning. Probably wouldn't play through again straight away.
All in all, really enjoyed it and would recommend playing. Overall score from me would be an 7.5/8 out of 10

Anybody use the mechanical heart to decide if they should kill a guard or not? The ones wanting to get home to their sick children I let live. The rapist one wasn't so lucky.
Next time I play will be kill everyone style. Also playing it without the xray vision would make it very challenging.
