ISF Servicing - South East UK
Discussion
Following on from my earlier what car! - Ive ended up with an Lexus ISF, so far so good!
Coming from a C55 its a real step up in performance and handling, and light years ahead of the merc on build quality. Only thing I'm struggling with is finding somwhere to service it. Always had mercs and Bmw's so that area is well covered. However there doesnt seem to be the same following for this car.
Does anyone know of any decent independents in the South East? Historically Ive always had a much better exeperience and knowledge given by a well established indy.

Place called JDModified know Toyotas / Lexus inside out - they are in Basingstoke
Japex in Watford is another recommendation
Do you have any experience of them? I wouldn't take my car there [JDM], not least because of how they treat their staff and so on, but I don't trust them further than I can throw them. Japex in Watford is another recommendation
Yer i know James and find them to be excellent.
Gone out of their way to come and solve problems i had with a big brake kit i bought and are currently doing my forged engine build.
Also know numerous others who have nothing but good things to say.
Nowhere is perfect and some people wont find places to their liking but i for one can recommend them.

Mines just been into Lexus Hedge End and I was very pleased with the service they gave me... Great communication from the service advisors.
What were the costs like, just tryin to get an idea of how much lube I will need in advance!!Though they flagged up that my car was supplied to me with the wrong sized rear tyres so i'm off to have a word with my supplying dealer about that one.

Hi, I`ve recently bought an ISF and contacted the main dealer re servicing.I`ve signed up for 3 services for £690 which includes all consumables such as oil, wipers, batteries for fobs. Mine`s over 3 years old though..
Hmmm £690 isn't bad for 3 services with everything included. Slurms said:

We use them for the IS-F and the IS300, have to say, after a shaky start a few years ago, they are now excellent. Go out of their way to be helpful and pleasant.Four Litre said:
Hmmm -just got a quote for a intermediate service for £475 and £608 for a major! That's from a South London main dealer.
the 60K major is the big one, plugs, valve clearance check etc etc. and whole load of other stuff I'm told. Luckily the Lexus dealer picked up the bill for that one! I've just had a 70K intermediate at my local Lexus dealer....£240 happy with that.
