Battery that properly fits an R50 mini

Afternoon all.

Can anyone please recommend a battery which fits a 2003 / R50 Mini One without any modification (and not from the dealer!)?

I've read from a few sources that because the battery sits in a box, the height of the battery (and hence terminal position) can be an issue.

just cut a piece of wood for under mine and is spot on, exide and bosch are the same lower height, so just used the exide premium
