From my mine of useless information:-
Later US spec MGBs used a Weber downdraft and
Volvo Penta boat engines use a Solex downdraft.
Sorry I don't know the sizes but a bit of "googling" might help.

I still have the original Solex carburettor from my Matra Murena 2.2, as it has been replaced with twin Dellortos to raise the car to Murena S spec.
Details of spec:-
Solex 34 CICF 141 (TAL 13116.000) twin-venturi downdraught.
Auxilliaries: 4.0 Venturis: 25 primary 26 secondary. Air correction jets: 190 primary 180 secondary Main jets: 127.5 primary 135 secondary
I might perhaps be persuaded to sell the old carb.
I hesitate slightly in case I want to sell the car with the capacity to return it to original spec. What does eBay throw up?
