Northern Spain & Idiada Test Track Run

I thought that I would float the idea of a short trip to Northern Spain / Pyrenees and down to Idiada test track for those that may wish to try the excellent handling circuit and more importantly the massive loop that will enable you to hit top speed if you so wish. This could easily be done over 5 days taking the overnight ferries a nice leisurely drive there or back a day at the circuit and a fast run either way to or from the ferry.
The idea is to get a Portsmouth to Bilbao ferry and then a route from there taking in the Pyrenees and down to just south of Barcelona to the track, that can be hired out for the day. Then drive back and take the overnight ferry.
Now I have not planned a route, but thought that I would gauge interest. Either a spring or Autumn run would be nice. I know the PN guys do a Northern Spain route, so I am sure we could find a route or two from them or Mikey may even know a few roads as he is our most travelled explorer.
Mike at Bamford Rose has offered to provide support (Mug) and get the circuit booked through his company as a test day, as he has the necessary documentation to book it.

Would love this but with organising the Geneva run for April I wouldn't get permission from SWMBO to do another spring trip. Autumn would be a goer I think 
It could be the backend of next year if necessary, but thought it would be a nicer trip than just 1 evening/day.George H said:
Not for me as I wouldn't take my car on a track, but have you considered Ascari circuit instead. Now that looks like the sort of place to combine a holiday with track testing! Plus it will be a lot warmer in Southern Spain 
Let's be honest George, your car would not make it out of Lancashire . Ascari would be great, but I am trying to limit it to a few days off work for people and across a weekend, without needing to drive 500 miles per day.
Subject to dates, I'm up for that - I already have the April trip, Le Mans in June and I think an Alpine pass tour in July/August though...
I would probably drive to Calais then do the 640 mile (from memory - done it several times a few years ago) drive along the Northern coast from France/Spain to San Sebastian - not only is it an overnight Ferry to San Sebastian but it's even further from Manchester to whatever ports leave for Northen Spain than it is to Folkstone
