Are there any issues here? I've got a frozen edition and have been warned about cleaning the car, or rather what you clean it with? Is this true. Anyone got any experience of this? Many thanks

Use a shampoo with no gloss enhancers, same goes for pre wax cleaners and waxes, Swissvax do a range of products for matt paints called 'Opaque', other manufacturers probably do similar.

What about if I just take it down to the local place at my nearest Homebase?

Yeah, should be fine there.

Whenever I've taken mine to be washed there it always comes back looking dull and lifeless so they obviously know what they are doing scratchchin
