Seen the threads on the Griff forum about this and wonder if the valve(s) are adjustable in the same way on a chim? I've got a permanent hot air supply and think the valve is not closing fully but cannot see how it can be aligned... what am I looking for?

I'd be interested to know too. Can anyone tell me what position I need to contort myself in to to see this valve i.e. where is it located please?!

Mmmm, I believe that I am suffering the same problem. Now I am not expecting cold air through, but even with the dial turned right back on cold I still get hot air - hate to think what hot air is like!!!

Cant think it should be that bad though. Could the control be stretched / out of alignment / wrong? Need to get into the dash soon anyway so would be interested on the opinions of others.

Cheers,

Paul

My Chim 450 is the same way. Lots of hot air. I found the valve.. it's quite easy to get to, although I found it's not too easy to get out... so I didn't.

Anyway, it's located under the left side of the dash on the passenger side. Once you see the hoses going into the heater box, you'll recognize it. (black, with a cable attached)

From what I can figure, the only way to check the valve is to remove it. I did try to adjust it, but that didn't work. I was thinking about clamping off the hose.
