Anytime Fitness have opened up a franchise near me, what caught my attention was that they're open 24/7.

Does anyone have experience of them? I'm a bit concerned that they're only manned for 12 hours a day, so potentially if someone has an accident in there it could be 12 hours before they're found!

Are you intending on having an accident? Just keep your mobile with you. In most of the gyms I've been in the customers don't seem to work that much of a sweat up or use the free weights smile

I'd take some red distress flares in with me and a first aid kit......I think we should be thankful health and safety haven't gone mad, that's what makes endurance events and open water swimming fun you sign a disclaimer and crack on.

I think they are a great idea, 24hr training for all the shift workers. I like to train solo, I run ultras, it's good mental training. I think we have one in Nottingham, uses a thumb print reader to get.

If it's like puregym, they'll have lots of CCTV which is manned 24hr.
I think 24hr gyms are a great idea.
