400SE - aluminium(?) air vent trims for instrument panel
Discussion
Evening All
Your collective wisdom appreciated.
Been thinking for a while of sprucing the instrument panel and instruments.
Had a look tonight at the cars for sale on PH as well documented in Mr Tank and other posts.
I really like the dash set up in the graphite ca at TotalHeadTurners (Link below)

Can anyone cast any light on a source for the vent trims?
I remember a thread a long time ago about instrument bezels - but I think that cam to nought.
Regards
EWAN

We need someone to produce some to match the instrument bezels
Whilst the Leven ones look better than nothing, they are a dull silver
compared to the nice shiny instrument bezel ones
I remember Karl Cordwell who had the red Seac 460 had some really
solid looking ones specially made for his car to match the bezels he used to supply
Cheers

You could actually polish up the Leven ones. The dull finish is created by the spark anodising process they use but you could polish that out.
I have mentioned this to Leven in the past so perhaps if one or two more people ask they may well produce them in that form.
Thanks for that DavidI have mentioned this to Leven in the past so perhaps if one or two more people ask they may well produce them in that form.
I will try and get one of my engineering friends to have a go
