...and I'm sending the wench to the Butcher on Saturday to stock up.

What do I want on my list? Don't very often cook for more than 2 of us so no massive joints but butcher is usually pretty well stocked and I need some meaty suggestions from the massive cool

1 x pork belly
1 x lamb breast
1 x half lamb shoulder (don't be a girl, it's small enough for two hungry people )
2 x whole chickens which you can butcher yourself
2 x rib eye steaks
1 kg beef mince
1kg chicken wings

I'd be happy with that lot for £45.

Arse sorry, should have said that I now have one after 3 weeks of being without.

Suggestions above are on list for Saturday along with assorted other lumps of pig biggrin

Single forerib of beef (on bone) is a good meal for 2, also individual lamb rump joints feed 2 people nicely.

So you're sending your off wife to get a massive load of meat from your well stocked butcher? That's commendably open-minded of you.
