Picked this car up a few months back and have spent a few days doing some much needed tidying up, refreshing the paintwork, replacing nasty crystal lights, painting calipers etc so thought i would share it. I went to see the car after being told it may be for sale localy and drove it away the next day for a very good price.

The car is a 1993 Corrado VR6
143,000 miles
Subtly lowered
Eibach anti roll bars
Audi TT mini comp wheels (it will most likley go back on speedlines when i get hold of a good set
Aftermarket fogs and indicators (currently looking for originals but good ones are now rare)
Service folder bursting with receipts etc inc original dealership inspection
Car is also missing the front splitter as its very hard to source a undamaged one for a decent price

So now for the pics;

Apologies in advance for the poor photography.

My Uncle had one of these when I was younger, in the same colour. Lovely cars!

His windscreen wipers suddenly gave up on the A1M at xyzMPH and it scared the life out of him. (probably shouldn't have been going fast in the rain like...)

OEM wheels would improve it I think, can't personally stand that style of wheel!

Looks lovely, and I actually think those wheels suit it very well.

Love this.

Never managed to tick the 'rado off the list. Perhaps I need to.

Yeah it's certainly one to tick off the list, this is my 2nd the 1st being a 16v but the second you hear the signiture vr6 note your hooked.

I do like the wheels that are on it but can't help but think it might look better sitting on the OEM sped lines

I usually prefer my cars standard but for some reason I think those wheels suit the car - can't put my finger on it, maybe they make the design look younger than it is....

Corrado is on my list of cars I have to own before I die, just one I've never got round to.

Very smart indeed. A friend has just bought one and I had a drive, fanatastic car, he had a Miltek exhaust which produces a lovely note.
Enjoy

Indeed mine also has the miltek and it's gives a very nice note when being driven hard but once you settle down there is no nasty drone.

Thanks for all the love people

Lovely, seem to recall that registration number - think owner was active on the Corrado Forum

I've had tow Corrados, both G60's and my Nugget Yellow was totally immaculate when I sold it

I was very close to buying the earliest surviving Corrado - it was the Paris Motor Show car, LHD obviously, finished in a Porsche colour and with lots of detail differences compared to full production models, only a loack of time stopped me buying it and I believe it was scrapped

Can't be long before they start going up in value

Very nice, was playing with the idea of one of these or an ITR DC2. Think the Corrado badge needs to be black IMO. wink

Very nice, Flash Red is definitely growing on me as a colour!

I've technically had four Corrado's - an 8V, 2 VR6's and then a TDi, although the 8V was the recipient of the TDi engine so it's actually three.

Awesome cars, I sold the TDi a few months ago and I'm already considering buying another VR6 as a daily driver!

Look after it, it looks like a good one smile

Looks great. Had a couple of Golf VR6s years ago and really liked them. Have you got any "before" pics...pre- saving it?!

To be honest other than a very deep clean (wheels off etc) removing crystal tail lights, painting the calippers, new number plates and a full interior refresh there isn't a great deal to see that shows in photos but as requested here they are.

These were taken when I first got the car but I had already set to work with a decent polish and coat of wax
