Just out of interest does anyone know what the delivery time is for a 3.6 997 with modest options?.

Cheers

IIRC back in June/July Chiswick OPC were quoting Dec 04 for a 997 S and April 05 for a vanilla Carrera but with these cars you won't be able to pick and choose from the full options list (eg switchable sports exhaust and different dash trim inserts won't be offered until late spring deliveries next year)

Worth doing a search as it's been discussed a few times before or better still speak to a few OPC's a some people may have fallen out of the order chain and times may have changed

At Newcastle's OPC, it's a 12 month wait for a 997 S and about 6-8 months for the 3.6.

Just found out today my 997S won't come with the standard wheels and they are the only ones I want !!!!

How stupid is that? I have to have a set of optioned wheels......

Mine is coming on Carrera Classic wheels and I would love to do a swap. Even if you want the SportDesign I might be able to get mine to come with them instead, if you prefer.
