How do I get an icon picture...

... on my profile on a thread?

I see that some peeps have little pictures/avatars under there name on replies, etc.

For example, Leventechnology and PetrolTed!

You won't get one, PetrolTed only allows a chosen few to display them. Main reason is that it takes up a lot of bandwidth.

They'll be phased out in due course.

In hindsight I believe they make the forums look untidy.
