Evening guys. I'm pondering getting Sky+HD but as a new customer to their TV services. I'm with them for phone and broadband which is working very well but I'd like to know if it's possible to haggle the price of the TV services down based on me being a current customer of their other services.

I'm planning on getting the entertainment and sports packages with the HD 2TB box.

Has anyone been in this position recently?

Can't help with being a new customer but I don't think they'd offer you much if anything over the standard new customer deal.

That said I did threaten to leave them about a month ago after 11+ years, I told them what I'd like and they gave me a new 1TB box for £49 incl. installation + a multiroom subscription for £2.50 a month instead of the usual £10.50 or whatever it is.

As above been with sky for years, threatened to leave so managed to barter a deal out.

Got 2tb hd+ box for £49 and another free sky hd+ box for upstairs fitted with a new dish for free.

Have all packs apart from films and have HD subscription and multi room for free.

Ask politely but firm and there are good discounts offered.

As the others have said, if you threaten to leave, but in a poliite and calm manner, there are discounts/deals to be had with Sky.
