Is there anyone in the North Kent area with an example of a 3000M or M series that I can have a look around?

I need to start comparing and finding out what Im missing and where I need to be concentrating for restoration and rebuild purposes!

Would also be good to catch up with fellow Ms in tha area too
Thanks

Stu

Hi, 3000M's and Taimars are completely different cars...always interesting to look at, but totally different.

Adrian thats a bit of an exaggeration, the basic running gear/chassis/etc is the same, yes things like the inner wings, heating system, tailgate are different, but many faults on a Taimar are the same faults on a 3000M

nevermind 3000M and Taimar.

You can have big differences between 3000Ms on there own.

No two are alike, biggrin

Hi Stu
I spoke to Adrian Today and he said that looking at mine would be a good idea as the Taimar and the 3000s probably have more in common than M3000 and 2500 as they where built at the same period and they had common fittings between the two models.
Feel free to get in touch and come down even take her for a blast.

Thanks Andrew,
Thanks for the offer of a drive, muchly appreciated!

As soon as I get her (this Friday) the 350i 2+2 FHC will be relegated to the drive, so I need to drive it as much as possible, meaning that I can come and see you for a look over and a chat possibly the weekend after.

I need to get some more pictures up here so that Adrian@ can have a look at them and tell me what Ive got and what I need ( Adrian, just read you profile, looks like you might know a thing or two about TVRs!??!) wink it also might jog someones memory when I get the chassis number and reg up here too, and Ill psot up the details of the two previous owners just in case someone knows them?

Im really looking forward to getting it now, and getting the engine running for the first time in over 16 years, I love a challenge!
