Second Year Service V8 Vantage

Last year service was £600.00 now I am being quoted £1100.00 for the second year service. Informed that the addition is air filter, pollen filter and brake fluid change.

Anyone else have any better figures, I would take it to Bamford but not until its third year.

Shop around. I was quoted between £1200 and £760 by various Aston dealers for my 5 year service today. Interestingly BR weren't the cheapest.

My second year service was much less than what you have been quoted. I remember at the time I was told that AM no longer required the brake change fluid at year 2 - sure I didn't dream that! However, my windscreen wipers were changed as part of the service.
I suggest you ring around - I did and found quite a difference between them.

Too expensive.....tell them to forget the valet at the end and reduce the price by £400

Cheapest now down to £999.00, still need to look around as £399 for a pollen filter, wipers and brake flid change (if required)and 0.85 hours of work seems excessive..

Where are you getting the Info about the brake fluid change?
Aston Martin Service def told me it was no longer required at 2 year service, and they reduced the cost accordingly. This was November last year, and it was a recent change at that time IIRC.

Ok thanks for that, l'll dig out the paperwork and have a look, if I did dream it I'm nearer the funny farm than I thought!
