Went to a small local car show today and there was an ICE shop with 2 demo cars, a Smart and a MINI. Now I'd never been interested in ICE before but this really caught my imagination. I love music and the sound quality from the Smart was absoloutly stunning. Also it had a PS2, not something I'm interested in, but of course to use it, a Television screen head unit. I've never seen one in the "flesh" before and they are might cool and suprisingly good quality. Also it has suprisingly good TV reception.

After that I'd really like a top quality ICE install in the first decent car I get. I'd prefer it to be a little more harder to spot from the outside of the car than these were though as I'd worry about some ba*terds stealing it.

Anybody else been interested, or am I turning into a Muppet?

Rob.

My last car had a fairly large install - www.sqplus.com/img/installs/e36coupe.htm and I do miss it - It is only muppety of you cruise the streets with bass shaking everyone's windows IMO...

A nice sound system is an integrla part of motoring on British roads as I spend that much time in traffic jams it makes the journey less hell-like....

I was warned off using a PS2 in car as they have bugger all shoch protection whereas the PS1/PSX held the disk in place..

OK if it isn't going to be used on the move and you do get DVD though!!

DVD is precisely why i want a PS2 over the PS1 i already own! PS1 will go in initially tho, as i cant afford a PS2 at the mo!
