Fantastic win for Toyota at home! Great scenes at the circuit, 12 second gap after 6 hours of racing?? Nakajima did an epic stint to get that win.

Amazing job by Toyota on a tight budget, especially when the rules are so biased to the diesel Audis

I only caught the end of it this morning (is it worth watching the whole race back?). I'm an Audi fan but it's brilliant seeing Toyota do so well given their initial view on this year. Tellingly, Hindhaugh pointed out one of the most senior Toyota guys was in the crowds in a team kit - be interesting to see how much they raise the bar next year - including budget-wise. Certainly makes for an interesting 2013.

i caught the last couple of hours, was a great watch. I may even watch the first 4 hours later, much more exciting than the grand prix.

Its great to see toyota doing so well, really hope they can run 2 cars next year. I can only imagine how good this season would have been if Peugeot could have been involved too.

Great race, with a great close battle after 6 hours of Racing!! Exactly the reason Endurance racing is the best Motor racing on the planet.
Good to see Toyota win - in what is meant to be a development year. Surely the budget will increase, and so will the performance, and with 2 cars the future looks good.
I'm pleased the GTE-Pro went to the FelbrmayerProton-Porsche....I wonder how many of the Porsche GT drivers will be part of the LMP programme, Lieb? Lietz?

Just finished watching the full 6 hours from Sky+ (Motors TV) after being on holiday. What a cracking race!! Felt like a much better event than either Brazil or Bahrain... think a mixture of the excellent on track battles, strategy (Toyota double stinting tyres etc), trackside atmosphere.

Set the bar for future WEC events I thought.

The only thing I would change for next year (Aside from the calendar) would be more GTE Pro entries (maybe at expense of a couple of prototypes) - BMW, Vette, even Viper (rules permitting) would be great.
