I'm self employed but do a day a week each for 2 places where I am paid as an employee (PAYE).
I was just going to take 1 or 2 days of from each unpaid as I had assumed that I had no right to any paid paternity leave.
Should I inform their payroll depts? Both are councils so there is no guarantee that they will know their arses from their elbows!

If you've been there six months, you get two weeks off. That will just be the days you work in those weeks though.
