Light Upgrades
Discussion
Depending upon the colour of Cerb I end up getting I'm pretty sure a light upgrade will be needed if the car doesn't already have it.
What sorts of costs are involved to get this done? I prefer the blended in type but I presume this might involve more work...
Are there any particularly good lights or are they all much of a muchness?
Thanks,
Rob

Have a chat with Jason at TVR Bodyshop in Bristol - he did mine and it looks the dogs... Old school prefer the big lights and i can understand what they mean but i do like the look of the blended ones. There are various different options he can offer so really depends on personal taste and also what you might want to consider about resale. Cost depends on which you go for but i think ball park is probably £1400. Mine was part of a repair after a low speed knock so don't know the specifics.
I posted a little pic a couple of months back with a close up of the speed12 (bigger pic on my profile)
Cost for me was fairly high but it was the lights with complete full body respray, new carbon window trim, kick plates and a few other bits and bobs.
I think ball park is around 1100-1200 +VAT for blended lights.
(look in 'shes back' thread for close up piccies)

Andy -I'd say the costs were well worth it - your car looks fantastic.
Why thank you
The car is getting on now, almost 9 years old, so it was a bit shabby before the work. I've had it a year and plan on another 18 months so thought it could do with being spruced up. No major problems yet :fingerscrossedandtouchingwood:

I had my conversion done at TVR Bodyshop too - just before Andy as he collected my old wheels from there. I'm very pleased with it and they are a nice company to deal with. There is a picture on my profile taken outside the bodyshop.
There are lots of options for the shape, size and configuration of the lights. I would recommend seeing them in the flesh if at all possible, the photos sometimes don't give you the full, err... picture.
