Got this noisy ad for Airwick that made me jump almost out my chair (I had just been listening to loud music and it came out really loud).
I was using Opera at the time (Chrome was having a dicky fit)
It was this thread: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
And here is the ad.

In opera, right click on the page click "block content" then click the add and hit OK.

Bye bye advert.

Better yet get chrome or firefox, install adblock plus and be ad free forevermore.

I do usually use Chrome but you can't watch videos on it so I have to use Opera (Firefox doesn't do much of anything).

I did try ad block but made everything lag and it wasn't really worth it.

Can't watch videos on it? Chrome works fine here for anything and everything

Odd, I found chrome even faster when I removed ads, afterall it doesn't have to render them!

You can watch videos but not on full screen, the audio becomes out of sync.

How odd, I will try it again, it may have just been Chrome having one of it's turns.

Update both flash and chrome, no issues with the latest versions here

Look for adblockplus in the chrome app store, works just as well as the firefox version smile

Just checked a couple of YouTube videos and it seems to be working on full screen again

I've reinstalled ad block and it seems OK this time around.

Thanks for helping. smile

You'd have thought that by now PH would have got the hang of this and started shooting their ad blokes one by one when they let these ads through. All they are doing is driving people to adblocker....
