Me and the wife had a nice drive out to bridgnorth yesterday had a look around the shops and stopped for a pint and a cracking home made pizza at the boat in.On the way home approaching a crossroads there was a red Ferrari 360 waiting to pull out on to the road and looking like he was coming our way, i couldnt believe my luck.I over took one car to make a bit of space then slowed down hoping he would follow, as we approached an island he came screaming up behind there was a people carrier in front as we drove around the island ,my Tuscan was in second gear and waiting to unleash the power on the prancing pony. The Tuscan is a bit off a handfull in second even on a dry road so i was cautious not to push the pedal to the floor until we were round the people carrier and going straight again. The Tuscan made easy work off the chasing ferrari, i slowed down at the top off third gear and ferrari man didnt want to play anymore.I love my Tuscan

Similar thing happened to me but it was a 430 not a 360 I don't know if he just lifted but we stopped down the road and he was so impressed with the Tuscan (the 430 is a nice motor too) . It was a different story against the only aventador I've seen that just left me looking at his massive exhaust, what a car that is !!

I can imagine the aventador being a bit more of a challenge

I thought a SP6 would struggle against a 360/430 ferrari TBH and I have a recently rebuilt 4.0L Cerbera so good to hear.

The Tuscan (even mark 2 with revised geometry) gets whacked by the 430 around the top Gear test Track, by a number of seconds (both version of the 430)...

The easiest way of beating the Aventador is an Ultima GTR .. nearly 7 seconds a lap quicker than the Aventador

Maybe so but in a straight line the tuscan won the day

I have played with a 430 before and we were both shocked I think.

Also did a trackday and down the back straight at Bedford I held an equal gap with a v10 r8 although who knows if I didn't get on the power sooner coming onto the straight which makes an enormous difference. I also held a gt2 and got let past but I think we all know he wasn't giving it 100%

Played with a 600 sports bike (well I guess 600) I think it was an r6 from a rolling start to about 70 and only when we got to about 60 did he start to go past, but then real world I can appreciate its hard to get the power down properly.

Pulled easily on a Ktm xbow.

Mine is a red rose and I am still shocked how quick it is, 2nd and 3rd are very impressive.

I know what your saying but go watch the flying lap of the sagaris they did, it's on the limit practically drifting round corners.

The only thing I have learnt to never play with is a Bike. A 600 piloted well by an experienced rider will eat our cars alive, even from a start.

Although even in losing its great to get the appreciative nod from a biker. A nod that says that was closer than I thought it would be...

think the main issue is the fact the tvr was on 255 width rear tires and eagle f1's vs a ferrari with much wider rubber and better tires. From my experiance they seem around gallardo pace on acceration which is a little faster than a 360.

In my friends car on corsa tires round oulton they seem a very capable car.

From experience I would suggest that had there been some decent bends in the road the F360 would be quicker than the Tuscan, straight line drag race yes the Tuscan has the edge.

A 360 is slower on published straight line stats though so no real surprise.
