Has anyone ever fitted a replacement FM aerial in a Tuscan and if so where did you locate it (assuming it was hidden inside the fibreglass shell somewhere).
Also does a car radio aerial need to be earthed? If so this could be a slight issue when trying locate out of sight within a fibreglass body.

Thanks

Richard

As Walfords reply.
To access remove N/S light hatch on inner wing.

It is in there! Once you find the co-ax, keep pulling and the aerial should be on the end.
Can't remember mine having an earth.

Thanks for the replies chaps.

Aerial located and removed, a superb quality unit it was too - an old chrome telescopic number wrapped in foam and glue!! The pleasing thing is there is continuity between the cable in the wing recess and the din plug at the radio - hopefully a replacement aerial should improve reception from zero to something slightly better laugh.

Yes took the plunge after much deliberation Greig - a very different animal to the Chim, but breathtakingly quick in comparison thumbup.
Can you drop me a note of you mobile & email - either via your dad or I think it may be possible to do it privately on PH (though no idea how) that way can keep you in the loop r.e any runs etc.

Cheers

Coool. Can't wait to see it. Next we will have to sort Nick out for a new Cerbie. Still down in the Falkland Islands at the moment but back in a couple of weeks.
You can send a private message but I think you have it disabled as it should be on your info page as PM. Will send you a private message on facebook and will tell my Dad as well to pass on my mobile number.

Cheers

That looks stunning. I love the colour not unlike my friends T350.
Well Richard I am going to have to spend some money on mine now to get it up to that standard.
