Now the tuscan has gone I'm toying with the idea of a cerb as need 4 seats, however I don't want to be tied down to such expensive servicing/maintanance as I was with the S6. So, are AJP's something I could chuck into a local garage or are they still very much TVR specialist territory as with the S6?

Not too fussed about re-sale as would be looking at a cheaper car rather than something mint, so I guess history will have less of an impact.

AJPs/Cerbs tend to be more expensive to maintain than the T cars. So I dont believe you'd achieve your objective. They arent 4 seats as such. 3 seats and a perch.
But they are fab cars so go for it!

Servicing is pretty straight forward but if your putting it in to a TVR garage for a 12k service your looking up to the 4 figures mark providing all is well.

If your handy with a spanner it is a few afternoons work all pretty easy stuff and all the information you need to do it can be found here smile

Valve clearances are time consuming so around 8 hours labor can be needed if most of them need new chims.

I would put it some where who knows what there doing and has worked on a AJP before.

The other option a sp6 Cerb?

The back seats are a joke, If it is for children they are fine but adults 10 minutes back there is plenty. I use the back seats for storage so it makes a really good Gt car due to the space.
