Just came off the phone to my family back home. One of my brother- in - laws tells me he was walking through the Marina last week and spotted a blue wedge. He said it sported the letters and numbers 400sx on the boot. Whilst he was sitting watching the boats the owner came back to the wedge so my bro in law engaged the guy in conversation.. He told him I had a wedge and had owned o 350sx. The guy said his SX was one of only 3 ever made.

I thought there was only ever 2 made.

I don't suppose you have seen the wedge Jeff, I had heard there was a blue 400 down your way as my son and our lass have both spotted it a few times, but not a ultra rare 400sx.

He is probably mistaken. He may of got the letter wrong or could have misheard the guy.

Funny you should say that one of my mates said he seen a blue car like mine down the marina and it had hawkins or something like it on the front spolier I just assumed he got it wrong. Now this could be a story if I find out who owns it if its real.

It would be amazing if there was another of these fantastic wedges. Seeing Martins SX at V8D the other week was great it is a truly amazing wedge. The sound sure does get the old blood running . Someone may of nailed a supercharger on a wedge and a few stickers.

Well spotted Rob's brother in law - and thanks for bringing it to our attention, Rob.

Jasper has been keeping a list of these - I did hear a few years ago it was three, then it was two, now maybe three again.

Are there any other details - what type of blue was it, etc? Tantalising...

Sweet little video from Santa Pod in 1973 to give an idea of where Mr. Priddle figured in those days (one of the two or three top dragster drivers in the UK).

Oh, and I was there ! Been going to the Pod for 3 years by then. smile
