I think that I am correct in saying that you can get a later model T350 than Tuscan but to be honest I would have either.
The T350 is very good around town as you have that very long travel on the accelerator also no drive train shunting and pulls very cleanly from low revs. Really well behaved I would say. On the open road - just wonderfully precise and communicative with a really planted feel on the twisties, with very responsive steering which requires a delicate touch at times - great, it's surprisingly good on the motorways too. Mine has no cats and a JP sports exhaust so rather loud!!
I happen to have a 2006 car so it's a rather late T350 and love ittttttttttttttttttt

I had a 911 before and find that I am driving the TVR far more than I did the Porsche!
To be honest it's a difficult decision but if you want a change go for the T350.
Are you able to arrange back to back test drives?
Anyway good hunting. I know that Tony Gilbert has very nice examples of both cars in stock.

I had a T350t as my first Tvr, it was beautiful and drove like a dream.It was very tight driving around town with a really bad turning circle.It behaved itself in hot hot weather never a moment of engine overheating.I on the other hand was always feeling hot despite good A/C, To cut a very long story short I have ended up with a Tuscan S mk2.This is my ultimate car for speed and handling, the turning circle is fine and I have more confidence in this chassis and set up than any of my previous TVRs.Plus I have a million miles headroom. Both are fantastic cars and are a joy to drive, my vote goes to my Tuscan S. Now considering a T350.

"In the eye of the beholder" but to be honest the Tuscan does not look as modern as the T350. I looked at both and drove both - yep they are great but - T350 came out top for me so I bought the latest model I could find/afford l0l!I think the Tuscan looks a lot better and is a lot more versatile! I've owned a Tuscan and am looking for another one! Every TVR is special but some are more special than others!
But as we all agree both cars are are fantastic

This is exactly the question I was going ask. I'd like something that handles better than my Chim and was hoping that the T350 / Tuscan might deliver. How do they compare to other modern cars such as the Z4M and Cayman?
If they handle the same I think I'd prefer the extra grunt of a Tuscan S (plus the roof comes off).

Sounds as if what you really need to satisfy the handling and roof off requirements properly is a TamoraIf they handle the same I think I'd prefer the extra grunt of a Tuscan S (plus the roof comes off).
I compared a T350c and Tuscan mk1 back to back, after owning a Cerbera.
They were both awesome, but i found the Tuscan was more of an occasion. The T350 felt more 'everyday' but a different league of 'everyday' to your average eurobox - they are far from average.
I think the T350 is stunningly pretty, but found the Tuscan is just a little bit more whacky....and the better for it!! Also, roof off motoring is great fun.
Handling, performance etc - im sure there is nothing in it!!!

without stealing the thread, isnt the chassis on all t cars the same? Sagaris uses different wishbone mounting, but the main chassis i thought was the same.
I totally agree that 'out of the box' they are very different, for a number of reasons, but that didnt worry me so much as i knew they could be made to handle as well as any other. Most of the reasons are know well known.
Coming back to the op, if you dont mind tweaking i dont think u should let the handling be a deciding factor, or look for one thats been set up well.
