I did get a drawing of the (extremely cr*p) viscous diff used in the V8S, not that it'll do you any good. There's not much you can check without stripping it apart, and no adjustment. (The viscous clutch is sealed.)

After trying a couple of these I've decided they are a waste of time and money, from a mechanical point of view they are a nonsense and they don't give very good handling or traction. In particular, they don't have any effect until you have a significant speed difference between the two back wheels, which basically means you sit there with smoke pooring off one back wheel shredding the insides of your diff instead of putting power down. To add insult to injury, they actually cost more than a conventional diff!
