Hi, I have posted an advert in the classifieds (not sure if I am allowed to post a link to it) and have had no interest in it over the 4 weeks it has been up. Have you guys got any good tips on what an advert should contain please? I have mentioned all the main work done over the last 5 years (new outriggers, rebuilt gearbox, new diff etc...)
Are people buying these cars at the moment?
Thanks in advance

When I was up to buy one, for me it also would have been a good impression for an interesting car, when the seller would have had pictures of underneath posted in the advert. I found a very well one on another way, but upload detailed pictures of yours describing the chassis, and I am sure that it gives you a big advantage. It is important. And good cars always will be sold. Dont worry

I'd agree about the photos - there's nothing wrong with them per se, but giving the car a good polish and taking it out somewhere picturesque on a bright and cheery day will let you present the car a lot better in my opinion.
Everyone knows what the Cerb looks like but some photos are definately better than others. Under bonnet and under chassis shots can be very appealing if these areas are clean and tidy. It gives a visual impression that the car is well cared for with a lot of attention to detail.
Photos of the interior from several angles to show the condition of carpets and leather etc are well worth having too.

The ad isn't very good... Pics are terrible and description unappealing. There is an identical one further down with great pics etc albeit 50% pricier...
I'm afraid, harsh though he is, Gazzab is right.I hate to say it but I think a lot of these cars are a little overpriced. Unless prices have risen in the last year.
