It seems most of you guys have the C (the vast majority). I know the engine is NA v TT but to my ear they sound as good as each other. Is the C a bit more nimble? Any other reasons why there don't seem to be than many E63 owners here. I could do with the extra room

is there anything to watch out for with the E63 or are they pretty much bullet proof? Presume certain options are a must have (PPP, command?)

I accept running costs will be high.

raise hand. My E63 is great. but I think you are confusing the engines. the New E AMG has a 5.5 twin turbo, the Older E AMG has a NA 6.3.

I needed the space and liked the look of the E. One of the best cars I have owned,

Thanks for your response-I def know that one is a TT and one N/A. I've read many say the C63 sounds completely different but to my ear they both sound epic and the only real difference is size, i.e performance and handling should be very close. Shame they don't make the E in a coupe.

E63 Coupe? I don't think they offer it due to other model clash CSL

I currently have an old style RS6 in estate form. I would definitely have gone for an RS4, but alas they never came with an auto. I much prefer the proportions of the smaller estate, hence I have more recently been keeping a beady eye on available C63 estates as they slowly drop in price. Just need to find the right colour/spec combo!

One thing I am certain I will miss will be the cacophony emitted by my current steed's exhaust pipes! Thank You Milltek!

We have both (not AMG versions) as pool cars at work and the E-class is considerably larger feeling. It feels (although it may not actually be) absolutely huge.

Its a a big difference from the C-class in my opinion.
