Aston Martin sales breakdown from 2002

This might interest those who have not read the New Vanquish article in last week's Autocar

I saw this in Autocar and gave it little credence really. If you look at the V12 Vantage line then there looks to have been a flatline with minimal sales. But we know that 1098 have been sold in the four years of production so a very basic average of 250 cars a year. On that basis the sales line for the V12V should be half way between 0 - 500 but it isn't. OR am I reading it wrong.

Why would they compare the DBS with a CLS, 458 or Gallardo. Makes little sense.

They don't. They compare it with the AMG CL Coupe, a totally different animal which sits in the territory they seem to be referring to. Their price range would suggest a CL65 AMG which would make sense since it is a very luxurious bi-turbo V12 coupe with 600+ bhp
