I hated the rusty old nasty TVR bracket and P clip (I repainted in silver hammerite at first) that supports the heater pipe on my Tuscan convertible. So as a very cheap fix I've changed the bracket for a stainless bit of metal. But I am looking into a custom made one piece bracket with countersunk bolt and welded nut on the underneath, possibly engraved with the TVR logo... I've said must be priced under £20 , hopefully a lot less enough there is plenty of interest... Anyone interested here ???

Original

My stainless bracket but still with P-clip.

Also posted on Tuscan forum to get feedback .. thanks BigAl

I'd be interested for that sort of price. Not bothered about the logo though.

I have made a couple of these up in the past.

Will see if I can make the time but please also continue down your route as well.

Cheers. Lee.

I'd be in - I can add it to the list of other group buy items that I've participated in that are yet to actually be fitted to the car smile

I should have enough spare money to invest and do the stainless pipes in the new year. Will be around half the price of others with the correct bead formed on the ends.

Cheers. Lee.

Will do mate. As well as the spare time and money issues I have to take the one off my car to do the measuring etc which means no driving hence why it will have to be over the winter.

I also need to do around 50 to keep the costs down and to enable me to pass the savings on to you guys.

My other idea was to weld the stainless bracket onto my new stainless pipe removing the need for the P clip all together. Will let you know.

Will keep you posted.

Cheers. Lee.

Lee I like the solution of a stainless pipe with the bracket welded onto the pipe. I will e-mail you directly. I know the ACT stainless pipe is £67 without a bracket. There are others on the Tuscan forum interested.

The ACT one is £69+vat + postage so closer to £90! I also hear that they dont have the bead formed on the end just some stainless weld (just what I have heard which may not be correct)and yes no bracket.

Will check my email.

Cheers. Lee.

a good idea but put a rad on the 4 corners of the plate, much more professional looking then.
