Hi all, my right hand brake light holder appears to have come unbonded and has slipped down inside the body. Only way I can see to access this is via the speaker hole which isn't the biggest gap to squeeze my hand into.

Hi Tony

I haven't got access to my car at the moment, but I thought that there were 2 covers (one either side) that could be removed.

It's been a while since I had to get access there but I'm pretty sure that it's reasonably straight forward.

Cheers,

Mark

Yes next to the speakers is an arc that goes from the boot switch to either side and next to that are two (leather) covered removable panels. Like 25cm x 20cm with one curved side. Tail light access is behind those.

Thangs guys, I'll have a good look tonight but IIRC when I looked the leather panel went in an arc right across the boot - couldn't see any removeable panels. I'll recheck smile

I quickly painted in the first T350 boot pic I culd find online: The removable panel is the one the big arrow points at. You need to move it a bit sideways because the panel has a pointy bit which jams in behind the arc where the small arrow is.

Mine must be the same as yours. i had to take the whole leather section off that goes round the speakers and over the rear hatch lock(the arc bit), there are 2 screws either side that are into the floor. It was a tight fit to get it off but i could see no other way.

What kind of bonding are you going to use to put the light back in? i am going to change mine for LED's but am wondering what to stick the new ones in with, what did the factory use?
