GoPro H2 - PAL or NTSC

Took delivery of a GP camera today... reading through the spec its set to NTSC as default... should I set it to PAL or does it not matter? I am in the UK..

Traditionally these things should be set to PAL as we are in the UK. (My GoPro H2 is set to PAL.)

...but I'm not sure if there really is a difference these days unless you want to play it back on your TV

It doesn't really matter these days, however you must keep all footage the same so if you are using more than one camera make sure they are all set to PAL or NTSC.

PAL = 25/50 fps
NTSC = 30/60 fps

Oh FFS always one

GoPro's won't give the option of 29.97 so go with 30 if you want NTSC ish
