Hi all..

Now, I know you Porsche guys generally know your stuff, so got a little question for you all smile..

I have the chance to get my hands on some Cayenne wheels for my VW caddy, yes I know adaptors etc are needed..

My question is, apart from visually, what are the differences between a Cayenne wheel bolt and a normal Porsche wheel bolt. Standard Porsche bolts seem to be a lot cheaper and easier to find..

Many thanks..

The centres of Cayenne bolts are hollow, whereas on other Porsches they are solid - hence the difference in price.

The principal is that customers could simply crawl up to the car, pop off the end of the bolt and snort their purchase directly saving the owner the hassle of winding down his tints to serve them.

Do you see what I did there? I amusingly suggested that a Cayenne is a drug dealer's car. Which isn't really true, round my way it's mostly gypsies and estate agents that have them.

Thank you MrCooke..
So would I be ok to run normal Porsche bolts on my Cayenne wheels. My van weighs about half of what the Cayenne does and I don't go off road smile..
