What's this bug?

Brother had this fly into his house the other day it landed on his arm and took a chunk out of him. Afterwards his arm swelled up and then it flew onto his tele where he took this picture so the quality isn't the best.

He's looked around the net to see what it is but hasn't been able to see what it is so then I said I'd ask the mighty knowledge of Pistonheads.

Looks like some type of sheid bug to me.

That's a death's head shield bug. They feed on large herbivores which they kill by injecting a very slow acting but incredibly powerful poison.
