Well, once again my Chim has done over 3000 miles on a trip down to our place in Torrevieja, it passed the 131000 mile mark while there, never missed a beat even in a 2 hour monsoon on the outskirts of Paris, caused many Spanish and French people to have a cricked neck trying to work out the make, met lots of people who wanted to have a chat about the car.
What other car could do that and still carry all my girlfriends suitcases, shoes and assorted crap
Brilliant.

I used to have an apartment in Villa martin so spent many years living it up in that area, Sold up when I had to drive half an hour to get spanish food and got bored fighting Northern Monkeys - Real shame as it used to be lovely.
Long drive though and the TVR acquitted itself well. Lovely colour too

They moved out there because Torrevieja has the cleanest air in europe because of the salt lakes .

I do like Gaddama
Yeah Guardamar is still a nice place but the big park down to the dunes has been closed to traffic now, but the market is still huge.

I nearly bought a place right on the beech(when they were cheap) at La Mata but globel warming put me off ,it looked on to the see.
Well done and glad to see she is soaking up those miles! I know what you mean, being such an unusual car on the continent really makes people gorp at the bonnet as they drive past to see what make it is. When we were in Germany last year we had several people walk over to look at the car and most were driving cars that were worth a lot more dollar than my Chim.
There arn't many cars that can have that kind of effect on people for the price of a Fiesta!
