In car video recorder (insurance purposes)

Righty,

I'm utterly fed up with the shower of retards on the roads and after a "mexican stand-off" with a calor gas truck driver on a single lane bridge where I most definitely had priority this morning (he was giving it all the revs and "edging" towards my car, basically threatening to hit me unless I backed up). being all out of red bull I girlied out and reversed, in hindsight I'd have love to have had some evidence of this, just in case he had did hit me, reg number etc (or if I felt like being a spiteful tt and sending it to his employers)

Anyway, I've decided I want to get one. Ideally discreet, front and rear camera pair recording to a box in the boot I suppose. Not really sure how it all works,

Any suggestions where to start looking ? I've tried having a google around but all I've come up with is bloody great "stick it on your windscreen with a massive sucker" things, which look stupid and would probably have someone breaking into the car to steal as it look a bit like a satnav!
