quiet sports exhaust between 30-50 on my 996

I have found out from Reading OPC and this site that the system does go quiet from 30 - 50 due to regs.

The question is what's the fix. Reading OPC were willing to have a stab at fixing it but were not sure what to do.

I would rather know exactly so the cost does not get out of control, any comments on who to call for the exact fix?

I called Porsche West London and they said they wouldn't do it due to "European Regulations"
