Which 5 year old 5 seater sports car?

Hi there fellow PHers
I'm after some advice.

Currently I'm getting rid of an Audi S8 and am seeking a decent sports cruiser which would make a good replacement. My only real criteria is that it needs to be a 5 seater, and so the usual suspects come to light e.g. M5, Quattroporte, E63 etc but I'm keen for peoples thoughts of what they would go for.

Would anyone go for a W12 Phaeton for example? Did Merc ever make a CLS55 with 5 seats?

All responses will be hugely appreciated.

£15-20k as an absolute max.......sub £15k for the right car would be perfect

If a Quattroporte fits into budget and you can afford to run it I wouldn't be looking elsewhere. The M5 of any generation will be a better car, but I have a large amount of love for the trident.

You're right.....the Quattroporte would be great and I could probably afford to run it for a couple of years barring any terrible mishaps (which I guess could be quite likely on a 5 yr old Maserati).
I just don't fancy another M5 even though I know they're a cracking car.
