As above, i was in the carpark and as i got out the car my electric mirrors folded in and now they wont unfold! The car i believe is still under warranty. Its booked in with Ford on Friday, what do i do in the mean time about driving it with the mirrors like this? Do i risk pulling them out so i can see where im going? or?

All help welcomed.

Thanks

Have you tried checking the fuse? Highly unlikely given the cars age but worth checking if you can locate it.

Other than that, sorry I can't offer anymore.

Dont know if you ve sorted this yet, but you know the knob you adjust the mirrors with on the drivers door.

Push it down or up. its like a parking feature or something, HTH

By the way i only know this as Mrs400 did it on our zetec s and then rang me in a panick thinking she d broke them.

Hi there, thanks for the advice ill keep that in mind for next time (hope there isnt one), but i took the car into Ford and apparently they had to do a full system reset taking 3 hours frown, but they did it all under warranty and adjusted my brakes. Even a nice clean car waiting for me when i got there in the afternoon smile
