I was just wondering everyones thoughts on these and if there are any owners how do they compare to the 'normal' 911.

They look the nuts.
I'm guessing to drive is very similar if not the same as a manual GTS

There is at least one SC owner on here who posts from time to time and he has been through some seriously hot metal to end up in it so it must be good :>

I think it is one of the best looking 911's of all time.

Was very close on one, but....too mileage sensitive, so pulled. Lovely car, colour sublime. Glad I pulled though.

Identical to gts with bodykit.

I followed one of these out of Paris and up the A1/N1 for about 20 minutes one Sunday morning back in the summer.

Beautiful cars and they have so much road presence at speed. I was shocked at the price that they were launced at and kind of dismissed them as some sort of Porsche marketing ploy at the time.

Love the styling, colour and wheels lick

They look great. Saw one in the flesh and i thought it looked very good. Daft price though imvho. Double the price of a (my) GTS (same engine/running gear) and i can't see where the other £70k is?

Special car. The interior feels really bespoke.

Thats the thing i really like the interior of them and the general look of them just not sure on the price difference. Im not sure on the price when they first came out but i think they were around the 160k mark like the speedster and now there in the 110k area where as the speedsters have kept there price pretty well. So just didn't want to lose a silly amount after a year, and i know thats to be expected with cars but just didn't want to lose to much when traded in after a year or two.

The problem with the SportClassic, more so than any other modern 911, is that it really is a collectors car. And by that I mean I suspect mileage will hurt their values. So it's a conundrum: 911s - especially the modern ones - are brilliant daily drivers that take mileage well. And yet using an SC in that way seems at odds with it's limited edition status.
