Aston Martin Garmin GPS

Does anyone know how to update the maps and database on the new Aston Martin Garmin GPS? (Virage/Rapide 2012)

Is there a SD card or something somewhere?

No idea though there is still a DVD unit in the same place as the Volvo system so it may be through that

For the new Garmin system there is an SD card that gets inserted in the "box" for an update.

On my left hand drive V8VS it is on the left hand side of the boot space behind the trim above the "hump" for the fuel tank.

So far I can only find updates through the AM dealership (not cheap but not stupidly priced), if you find another source it please let us know.

How much do you pay for the dealer updates and how frequent are they?

I had the same idea and contacted Garmin by e-mail and they said I had to go through Aston Martin.

Let us know if you have any further luck as the updates only seem to come out yearly which is a bit crap if you ask me.

This update comes on an SD card. It will be sold through Aston Martin dealerships. The map update will not be available directly from us. Concerning when the next map update for it will come, I do not honestly know. I am not sure a certain time has even been set yet. The best “feeling” I could get is it may be spring.
