Getting under my feet and being kicked?!?

Everywhere I walk, she runs past me. I've nearly fallen over several times and I've frequently stopped/dodged her as well.

She has:

Run between my legs whilst I am walking (getting caught as my legs swung) what scares me is I nearly squash her as well - Three times this week
Run into my calf and at other times my shin - twice this week so far (both into my calf, shin was last week)
swerved in front of me as I walk resulting in her getting kicked up the a**e as I step forwards - twice this morning!

So how do I stop her doing this!?!? She is either going to end up killing me or getting squashed. We rescued her at six months and she does like to rub off my legs when I am cooking and she will sit on my lap or shoulder or on the chair with me when she is in.

You don't stop a cat from doing anything. You adapt your behaviour to suit your cat. That's the way cat ownership works.

One of the other of the dogs is usually at my feet whilst I am on the couch but it's when I get up to move anywhere that the problems arise.

Feed it?

Other than that, yes, you'll just have to be more careful, take smaller steps, look down to see where it is etc.

she wants your companionship so the only option is to take it into account when you're moving around the house

She gets plenty of food. She is fatter than the other two. And she nicks their food.

This, she wants your attention. Problem with cats is they often go about seeking attention in the wrong ways. Our eldest one will just plonk himself on my lap if he wants attention, the youngest will walk into the room, start chewing one of the plants and either get chased off it or throw it back up again.

Sounds to me like she wants you to play with her.

Our cats are a nightmare for this. One day I'll trip and crack my head open 'cos of them.
The cat should be ok though, I hop out of my bedroom window for a smoke sometimes, have landed on the cat who was waiting underneath to jump inside, luckilly she was fine.
