Pattern suspension parts
Discussion
For rear suspension links my mechanic told me only to use Merc. But they're made by someone. I wouldn't hesitate to use anything from the ZF Group (Boge, Sachs, Lemforder), Bilstein or Febi Bilstein. I have done so (shocks, shock top mounts, sub-frame bushes, springs, various bushings) and been satisfied. There is also a noticeable quality difference between this branded German stuff (often made in the Far East, mind) and the really cheap stuff you find on Ebay. Behr Hella and Bosch are also good sources of high quality parts at prices significantly cheaper (30% or more) than Merc's, eg a Behr radiator from Behr Hella is about £120 whereas a Behr radiator from Merc is £500. Use the online catalogues to identify precisely the part you need and then obtain it from your local motor factor or from one of the online parts dealers. GSF and Euro Car Parts are not the cheapest by a long chalk.
